On April 21, between the Union of the Blind in Bulgaria (UBB) and the Institute of Information and Communication Technologies (IICT) at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, the contract for the development of the new Bulgarian speech synthesizer was signed.

It is expected to have voice variants for Windows and Android, including those that fully support the 64-bit architecture.

According to preliminary estimates, the product is expected to be available to consumers in the second half of 2022.
