The Exhibition “Colors in the darkness” was opened on 30.9.2021 in Plovdiv, Archeological subway. It shows the visitors and viewers the art achievements of the visually impaired people in Bulgaria. The exhibition was organized under the “Colors in the darkness – 55 years of integration through art for the visually impaired people in Bulgaria”, implemented by the National rehabilitation for the blind Center, Plovdiv, funded by the Agency for disabled people under the Ministry of labor and social policy of the Republic of Bulgaria. Visually impaired artists under the guidance of qualified mentors have been crafting ceramic and art works of art in the NRCB’s workshop for 6 months now. The present exhibition aims at showing the wide public their works of art, thus popularizing and socializing the works of art of visually impaired people, proving their high artistic value. Diplomas of art contribution and high artistic achievements were handed to the artists.
