On 13 November 2008 at the NRCB was celebrated the international day of visually impaired people by a theme seminar “Career development of visually impaired people”.
At the seminar were present instructors from the day-time rehabilitational centers in the country, representatives and partners from the Italian union of the blind – Region Ascholi Picceno, the Bartimeus Institute – the Netherlands, the Romanian Association of the Blind, Camera Work - Italia, SU “Kliment Ohridski”, CSAGR, Secondary school for VI children “Prof.dr. Ivan Shishmanov”, Varna.
The materials, presented at the seminar were at a high level and treated contemporary aspects of the rehabilitation, integration and vocational training of visually impaired people. During the seminar an opportunity was given for discussing the different issues of the day-time centers.
